Product Description
The high-strength DTDM long nut is made from Q235 steel and undergoes cold working and spheroidizing (soft annealing) to enhance its mechanical properties.
The internal hexagonal cylinder head bolts are produced using a cold-eye forming process, which directly reflects the steel’s forming capability. During cold working, the local plastic deformation of the part can reach 60–80%, requiring steel with excellent plasticity. The microstructure of the steel is critical: finer, spheroidized grains improve formability, while coarse plate-like pearlite reduces cold-work performance.
For medium-carbon and medium-alloy steels used in high-strength long nuts, spheroidizing annealing before cold working ensures a uniform, fine-grained spherical structure, significantly improving cold formability and reducing cracking during processing.
Typical annealing parameters:
undefined 35/45/ML35/Swrch35K steels: softening annealing at 715–735°C
undefined SCM435/40Cr/SCR435 steels: annealing at 740–770°C, isothermal at 680–700°C
This process ensures high-quality, durable, and reliable long nuts, meeting demanding industrial production requirements.
We serve a wide range of industries, including industrial automation, robotics, machine tools, packaging machinery, and material handling systems.
